PEMBROKE, Bermuda – April 09, 2026 – AXIS Capital Holdings Limited ("AXIS" or “the Company”) (NYSE: AXS) today announced the appointment of Anthony Izzo as Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Izzo will report directly to Vince Tizzio, President and CEO of AXIS, and will work out of the Company’s Red Bank and New York offices.
In this role, Mr. Izzo will lead the Company’s global commercial strategy, working closely with its underwriting and regional leadership to enhance how AXIS engages with brokers and partners to accelerate profitable growth and advance its multi-variant distribution strategy while unlocking new business opportunities.

Mr. Izzo joins AXIS with 35 years of industry experience. Most recently, he served as EVP/Group Chief Commercial Officer at Everest, overseeing commercial strategy and driving enterprise-wide growth and client relationships. Prior to Everest, Mr. Izzo held senior leadership roles at Guy Carpenter, TransRe, Aon Benfield, and Willis Re.
